The Anne Elizabeth Suratt Young Investigator Award
Three (3) Young Investigator Awards will be offered to young investigators at the 11th International Sleep and Breathing Meeting to be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from September 10-12, 2009.
Each award is valued at US $1,000 and will give young investigators the opportunity to present meritorious scientific work and interact with experts in the areas related to Sleep and Breathing.
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for an award
- Have a degree in medicine or doctorate in a field relevant to Sleep and Breathing and be within 5 years of initiating research in a field relevant to Sleep and Breathing.
- Scientific work must be related to Sleep and Breathing and have been conducted under the mentorship of a scientist currently or previously invited to participate in the 11th International Sleep and Breathing Meeting.
Applicants will be required to:
- Submit an abstract
- Register and submit abstract before 1 August 2009
- Provide a letter from mentor affirming your research related activities and participation in conceiving or designing the research and primacy in conducting the research
